intel-samsung-tabletIt seems that the next iteration of the Samsung Galaxy Tab (a hugely popular tablet series) will run on an Intel-powered chip – and this is something that was rumored in the past. Definitely unusual, but by no means one of the oddest pairings in the industry to date. It seems that the next generation Intel-powered Galaxy tablet is all set for a Computex 2013 release in Taiwan from June 4 onwards, where whispers have it that a 1,280 x 800 resolution display will be accompanied by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean as the operating system of choice.

Interestingly enough, Samsung themselves have proven to be quite the efficient chip manufacturer, and could be considered to be an Intel rival where Android-powered devices are concerned. Well, who are we to stop both Intel and Samsung who have every intention of expanding their partnership, and all the best to them in their future endeavors. Do you think that future Galaxy Tab devices as well as other Samsung branded products will carry more Intel manufactured items, or will this just be one of the more rare situations?
