WhatsApp callWhile Windows Phone might not have as many apps compared to iOS and Android, we guess they do have some of the major ones, such as WhatsApp. In any case if you’re a Windows Phone user looking to squeeze out a bit more functionality from WhatsApp, leaked screenshots have suggested that WhatsApp could be getting a call contact feature. Before you get all excited and think that this is a VOIP function, it’s not, but rather a convenient feature that allows you to call your friend without having to quit the app simply by bringing up their contact information.

Granted it’s not the most groundbreaking feature we’ve seen, but considering that Windows Phone does not really get the same amount of love and attention that they should compared to iOS and Android, every little bit of convenience and functionality will probably be a welcome update. Apart from this call contact feature, the next update for the app is expected to be a pretty significant one. No word on when it will be released, but fret not as we will be keeping our eyes peeled.
