w2 videoHuawei is reportedly set to launch their new phone, the Huawei Ascend W2 and if you’re looking for further confirmation of the device, the handset has made an appearance in a video advertisement from Chinese carrier, China mobile. Based on what we can see in the video (pictured above), it seems to corroborate what we’ve seen in the leaks from earlier. We’re still waiting for the official confirmation of the Ascend W2, but as it stands, the rumors are suggesting a 4.3” HD display with a resolution of 1280×720, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, an 8MP camera and will be powered by Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform. We’re guessing that with this ad, the Ascend W2 will at the very least be offered by China Mobile, and there is no word on if and when it will arrive stateside, but we’ll definitely be keeping our eyes peeled nonetheless.
