It has been a long time in coming, and most folks have already grown restless, wondering whether the third installment of the Kingdom Hearts franchise would ever be announced. In fact, many have already scoured the landscape that we call the Internet to look for additional information, but came up rather short, preferring to settle for a true sequel instead of spin-offs. It is then nice to hear that Square Enix and Disney have heard the multitude of voices out there, virtual or otherwise, to work on a spanking new Kingdom Hearts version – with the official announcement that Kingdom Hearts III is finally in development, and it will debut on the recently announced Sony PS4, clearly making this a next generation console title.
You might want to whet your appetite though with the trailer of the game above, which I would prefer to call it a short teaser instead, as the video brings you through snippets from all of the previous Kingdom Hearts experiences until the next iteration. Are you stoked yet?
