lenovo-mixSo here we are at the end of Computex 2013, and as the trade show winds down, so too, will news that hail from that part of Asia. While Computex 2013 proved to be the platform where manufacturers such as Asus and Acer announce their fair share of hardware (what with the Iconia W3 from Acer that runs on Windows 8 in an 8” form factor), it does seem as though Lenovo does not want to miss the bus this time around, hence, what is deemed to be the Lenovo Mix 8 tablet has been spotted at Computex 2013.

Apparently, Microsoft team member Leigha Anderson has called this tablet the Mix 8, as it sports the Lenovo brand name embellished at the back. This would be further confirmation that Lenovo has indeed jumped aboard the 8” Windows 8 tablet bandwagon, where we also heard from Anderson that the Lenovo Mix 8 will arrive in a thin form factor, sport 3G wireless connectivity and be accompanied by a folio and pen. No idea on the processor within, but it would not be too far off the mark to see a variant of Intel’s Atom processor within.
