wp81-leakOver the weekend, someone who prefers to be known as ‘ChinaMan28’ over on Reddit actually posted up screenshots of what seemed to be an early build of the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system, where it showed off a bunch of new features such as a notification center. According to ChinaMan28, he managed to gain access to this yet unreleased version of the Windows Phone operating system when he picked up a Nokia Lumia 920 from an unknown party over on eBay.

Of course, it remains to be seen whether the unknown party was someone who is working with Microsoft or Nokia, or just another bloke who discovered that this device ran on Windows Phone 8.1. The possibilities are basically endless, so to speak. Regardless, it seems that Microsoft wants the alleged handset back, and ChinaMan28 posted on Reddit, “Phone is going bye bye, got my phone calls and take down requests (I would much rather avoid legal matters of this nature). But atleast (sic) they are rembursing (sic) me for what I paid and a new phone.. w00t!!!” We cannot wait to see what Windows Phone 8.1 brings to the table for sure.
