When Samsung made its official unveiling of the Galaxy S4, they also announced a number of interesting accessories such as its S Health Scale, a wireless gamepad and its wireless charging pad. The Galaxy S4 has been available in the U.S. for weeks now, but a number of Samsung’s official accessories have yet to be made available. That changes today as Samsung is making the Galaxy S4’s wireless charging kit available for $90.

Yes – we know that’s quite a high price when you can just pick up any old microUSB cable and charge your Galaxy S4, but if you want to experience the pleasure of wireless charging, then you should expect to pay a little more for it. The wireless charging kit consists of a charging cover, priced at $39.99, and a charging pad, priced at $49.99. The charging pad is Qi certified, which means you’ll be able to use third-party charging covers from other handset makers such as Nokia, LG and Asus.

The charging covers are available in black and white, which are currently the two colors available for the Galaxy S4, and can be purchased here, while the actual wireless charging pad can be purchased here.
