windows-phone-leaked-build-1

Some new images posted on Reddit show off Windows Phone notification center and a host of user interface tweaks. These images were posted by a person who purchased a used Nokia Lumia 920 smartphone from eBay. Apparently the device was running a pre-release build of Windows Phone, hence the first look at these improvements which may be made public in the next Windows Phone update.

It is believed that this pre-release build of Windows Phone 8 was compiled last month, apart from the notification center, tweaks to the calendar interface have also been made. Improvements to the multitasking experience seem to have been made as well, adding the ability to close apps in multitasking view. Users are likely to get the ability to sort apps by name and frequency of use. Microsoft has chosen not to comment on these screenshots, though it is believed that what we see here is actually an early build of Windows Phone ‘Blue’ update. At this point in time, there is no concrete information regarding the release time frame of this update. The person who posted these images has since deleted their Reddit account.
