Despite BlackBerry putting their efforts into their BB 10 devices, they have not forgotten their old customers and the upcoming Bold 9720 will be a device that will appeal to customers who prefer OS 7, and presumably its more affordable price tag when compared to some of BlackBerry’s BB 10 devices like the Z10 and the Q10. In any case while the device has yet to be formally announced and hit the shelves, several videos have appeared online and they basically give us a walkthrough of the phone and some of its features. The video above is apparently a really quick review of the handset and while it is in Russian, hopefully the video should provide enough information for you to get an idea of what to expect.

The video below on the other hand shows off the apparently new lockscreen that users should expect from the phone. It sort of resembles the lockscreen of BB 10 and it even comes with a camera icon that will give users quick access to the camera instead of having to unlock the phone and launch the app, a two-step process. This feature could be part of OS 7.2 which according to the rumors is what the Bold 9720 will be shipped with, but we guess we will have to wait for the official announcement to see what BlackBerry has in store for us.
