lg-optimus-g-pro-review--17Owners of the LG Optimus G Pro might want to pause for a moment and take into consideration that your smartphone has just received the all-new Value Pack, where it is made available to new LG Optimus G Pro owners as well as current owners via an over-the-air (OTA) update. Just what kind of goodies does the Value Pack contain? It has been touted to expand and enhance the LG Optimus G Pro’s current features with additional creation, communication and notification tools.

Some of the new tools include Smart Video which is intelligent enough to recognize the position of a user’s eyes, where it will then pause the video whenever one looks away, before resuming active viewing when your eyes return to where it is supposed to be. As for the Dual Camera feature, it is an extension of the Dual Recording feature that allows one to simultaneously capture photos of the subject as well as the shooter thanks to the clever use of both cameras, delivering a picture-in-picture composition.

Other changes include Pause & Resume Recording, an Enhanced Quick Remote Function, and a HomeButton LED among others. The LG Optimus G Pro Value Pack is free just in case you were wondering, so there is obviously no harm in picking it up and giving it a go.
