We’re less than a week away from Motorola’s official announcement of the Moto X smartphone, scheduled for August 1st. Invites have already been sent out, all we now have to do is sit and wait. There have already been a lot of leaks, pictures of the device itself have been floating around the internet for well over a week. There’s not much that is left to know about Motorola’s new flagship device, but still, there’s quite a lot of hype surrounding it. There has been a new kind of leak today, the boot animation of Moto X has appeared online in a video, showing us exactly what users will see when they boot up their new Motorola smartphone.

Motorola has moved away from the rather standard boot animation that it uses in its Droid lineup, in fact they have gone in a completely new direction with this purported boot animation. Obviously there’s the possibility that this video is a fake, but given the amount and frequency of leaks we’ve been seeing about this device, its hard to doubt this video’s authenticity. Moto X is expected to be available in late August.
