A couple of days ago we reported on alleged leaked images of the Blackberry Bold 9720, Blackberry’s upcoming BB OS 7 device. Thanks to the folks at BGR, they have managed to get their hands on additional images of the Bold 9720 and this time the handset has been pictured alongside the Bold 9900, compared to the previously leaked image where the Bold 9720 was seen next to the Blackberry Q5 handset. In any case based on what we can see in the photo, the Bold 9720 appears to be quite similar in dimensions when compared to the Bold 9900, although unless we get the official specifications, it’s a bit hard to tell for sure. Other than that the keyboard layout appears to be similar, although we’re not sure if it’s the reflection of the light, but the Bold 9720’s screen appears to be a tad smaller than the Bold 9900’s.
Interestingly though, despite the handset being of the Bold lineup, which is also the more higher-end lineup of Blackberry phones, the keyboard design and buttons seems to be more of the mid-ranged Curve series. This is a stark contrast to the Bold 9900 where the buttons are more flushed and the overall design is more sleek. Of course it is entirely possible that the image above is fake, or that it might not be the final design, so do take it with a grain of salt for now.
