nokia-event-september

Last month Nokia launched its much rumored Lumia 1020 smartphone amid much fanfare. There was a lot of anticipation surrounding the event, but now that it has gone by, we must wonder what Nokia has in store for us in the future. The folks over at Windows Phone Central claim that Nokia has an event scheduled for September 26-27 in New York. It is not yet known exactly what Nokia would be announcing at that event, in fact it is too soon to say that this might be a product unveil event. For all we know, it could be a tea party for Nokia employees.

Nevertheless, the alleged event has got the rumor mill churning. Only recently a Nokia RX-114 tablet was spotted, so many believe that Nokia might be unveiling its first ever Windows powered tablet in New York this September. Last week we saw a purported display panel of the much rumored Nokia phablet, so naturally there’s speculation supporting the theory that Nokia is gearing up to launch its first ever phablet. Whatever Nokia ends up launching, or if the event does turn out to be a tea party after all, we’ll definitely keep you in the loop.
