78224a5e-ca72-402e-92dd-11b75f25b1eeWhile Vine for Windows Phone has been officially confirmed, a release date is still in the pipeline and for those who must have the app on their Windows Phone device, and if you don’t mind using a third-party unofficial app, 6Sec has been released and is now available on the Windows Phone store. The app itself is free, of course and it is basically an unofficial version of the Vine app which will be arriving sometime in the future. This is apparently the only full Vine app for Windows Phone and will allow users to find, follow and interact with people, explore trending posts, share Vine posts to Twitter and Facebook, as well as allow users to upload their videos onto Vine as well! Hopefully with Instagram missing on Windows Phone, Vine for Windows Phone will help the service prevent more users from defecting to Instagram which has introduced a similar video feature as well. While we have yet to try 6Sec for ourselves, user reviews have been generally positive so if you’d like to take it for a spin, hit up the Windows Phone store for the download.
