NL1520We have been hearing rumors that Nokia could be working on a phablet of their own called the Nokia Bandit, which according to more rumors could be known as the Lumia 1520 upon its release. So far we have heard rumored specs but we have yet to see a photo, and thanks to a recent leak and a photo obtained to Windows Phone Central, we might have our first glimpse at the upcoming device. As you can see in the photo above, the alleged Lumia 1520 can be seen pictured alongside the Lumia 1020 and it is very obvious that it is a much larger device.

As it stands the Nokia Lumia 1020 sports a 4.5” display and according to previously leaked specifications, the Lumia 1520 is rumored to feature a 6” Full HD display, and while we can’t tell the resolution from the photo above, it is obvious that the device next to the Lumia 1020 is larger by a noticeable amount. Windows Phone Central also noted at the bottom of the device an etching that reads “proto.nokia.com” which is standard on all Nokia tester devices, indicating that perhaps the photo could be legitimate.

Take it with a grain of salt for now but with Nokia rumored to announce the Lumia 1520 at the end of September in an event held in New York, we wouldn’t be surprised if photos of a more complete device start making their way online. Until then what do you guys think? Like what you see so far?
