The HTC One X+ was announced back in October 2012 as a slight improvement over the company’s previously released HTC One X. The HTC One X+ featured a 1.7GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, a slightly larger battery at 2,100mAh and additional storage at 64GB. If you’re still the proud owner of an HTC One X+, then you’ll be happy to know your time to receive your Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update has finally come.

The Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for the HTC One X+ brings with it an enhanced Sense 5 UI, which was first introduced with HTC’s newest flagship Android smartphone, the HTC One. HTC One X+ users will receive the BlinkFeed homescreen, a new lockscreen, a Quick Settings panel and support for a battery percentage icon in the device’s status bar. The HTC One X+’s battery life should also be improved after installing the update as well as the device’s camera application.

The HTC One X+ Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update is currently rolling out as an over-the-air update, which means you should be prompted when the update is available for you. Since we know updating an Android device is serious business, we won’t fault you if you manually check if the update is available by going to your HTC One X+’s Settings > About section.
