possiblenexus5-fccOver the past couple of weeks, we have started to see an influx in Nexus 5-related news. Photos of the alleged device have been leaked, and now thanks to a sighting on GFXBench, at least one of the specifications of the upcoming handset has been confirmed. The GFXBench sighting has revealed that the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset that has been clocked at 2.26GHz. The handset will also sport the Adreno 330 GPU and a  screen resolution of 1794×1080.

Rumored has it that the phone could sport a Full HD display, and if you’re wondering what’s with the weird resolution, well apparently the soft keys of the phone have been taken into account (126 pixels) which when added up would give the display a resolution of 1920×1080. Benchmarks can be faked so there’s no telling if this is the real deal so take it with a grain of salt for now, but the phone has been rumored for a launch in October, so hopefully we won’t have to wait much longer for the official details.
