The rumors about Apple’s iPhone event have finally been put to rest. Apple has sent out invites to the press for an event on September 10th. It has been consistently rumored over the last few weeks that the company will unveil its new iPhones on September 10th. Even if the event doesn’t bring new smartphones, which is next to impossible, we now know for sure when Apple is going to go up on stage to make the announcements everyone has been waiting for.

Apple is rumored to announce two new iPhones at this event. The iPhone 5S is one of those two smartphones. It is expected to have a faster processor, better camera and increased on-board storage option. A couple of new colors have been rumored as well, the much talked about gold/champagne and grey/graphite offering. The second smartphone is said to be the hotly anticipated budget iPhone, which is also known as the iPhone 5C. It is expected to have same internals as the iPhone 5, though it will skip glass and aluminium in favor of plastic. iPhone 5C is expected to be offered in as many as five different colors, the invite certainly seems to hint that September 10th will be a very colorful day. Both new iPhones are rumored to release on September 20th. The event takes place in San Francisco, it will begin at 10AM PT. Ubergizmo will have all of the updates for you come launch day.
