Earlier this month Samsung finally unveiled its much rumored new phablet, the Galaxy Note 3. It will take quite a while for U.S. carriers to launch the device, despite the fact that both AT&T and T-Mobile will be the first to begin accepting pre-orders. Rumor has it that Best Buy, one of the largest retailers in the country, might have the unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in stock from September 19th.

As per the leaked image of what seems to be Best Buy’s internal inventory system, the Galaxy Note 3 N9000 will be in stock from September 19th. The N9000 is the variant that has Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa processor and no LTE support, not the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 which has LTE support and will be carried by all major U.S. carriers. Other specifications like the 5.7 inch full HD Super AMOLED display, 3GB RAM, 13 megapixel rear camera, 3,200mAh battery and Android 4.3 remain the same. If LTE connectivity isn’t something you need, and you want the Galaxy Note 3 desperately, then this variant is going to be right for you. Even though one of the leaked images shows the price of this variant as $999.99, its likely that it may only be a placeholder. The unlocked Galaxy Note 3 from Best Buy might retail from $600 to $650, though an exact price hasn’t been revealed as yet. [Images via Sammobile]
