sprint-nexus-5

Rumors about the Nexus 5 have been coming in almost every single day, yet there’s no word as yet from Google on when its going to make the announcement. We’ve already seen multiple press renders being leaked, and the expected specifications of this smartphone have been talked about repeatedly. As per rumors, Google might announce the Nexus 5 on November 1st, but there’s no confirmation of that as yet. The latest rumor points towards Sprint offering the Nexus 5 to its existing and potential subscribers.

The rumor comes from well known Twitter personality @evleaks, who has a solid track record when it comes to these things. If this is true, then its certainly good news for Sprint subscribers, who didn’t receive the Nexus 4 last year. It remains to be seen if there will be a separate variant for Sprint or if one SKU of the Nexus 5 will contain the required CDMA, GSM and LTE radios. @evleak’s tweet also contains a render of the Nexus 5 which is no different from the ones we have already seen, a number of them have been leaked by this source as well. There’s no official word on pricing and availability as yet, so we’ll just have to wait for the official announcements to take place.
