There have already been a lot of leaks about the Nexus 5, Google’s upcoming smartphone. The company hasn’t said when its going to officially announce this device, and until it does that, the leaks won’t stop coming in. The latest leak concerns purported retail packaging of Nexus 5, the box itself doesn’t seem to be that different from those of other Nexus devices.
However, what’s interesting to note here is that the boxes hint at a white Nexus 5, something which we haven’t seen or heard about up till now. Sure, one might have perceived that Google will release a white variant, since it did that for the Nexus 4 as well, but so far this is the only indication we’ve seen about the possibility of Nexus 5 being available in white color as well.
The images come from a Korean website called UnderKG. As per the photos, white Nexus 5 may only have a white back panel whereas the rest of the phone may be in black. Though there’s a possibility that this retail packaging might only be for South Korea, its unlikely that major changes will be made to the packaging in other markets. The purported specifications, price and design have all been leaked, all that remains now is for Google to officially announce the Nexus 5. Lets see if both variants, black and white, are offered up for sale at launch.
