arm-processorThe Huawei P6S is one upcoming smartphone that has more or less remained shrouded in mystery. Why do we say so? For starters, there were whispers, no less by the Huawei president himself who has confirmed that the Huawei Ascend P6S will arrive with an octa-core processor, only to have some leaked specifications of said handset revealed later on that do not point to an octa-core processor. This is definitely confusing for the end user, and this time around, we have some snippets of information from ARM that showcases a device that could easily pass off for the Huawei Ascend P6S, although it will be powered by a spanking new Huawei chipset that is known as the HiSilicon Kirin910.

The product description of this new Huawei chipset points to a quad-core Cortex-A9 processor and Mali 450 graphics chipset, where it promises to offer a “perfectly smooth gaming experience”. Assuming this is true, then there should not be any octa-core processor underneath the hood, and hopefully the performance of the final product will fall within expectations of the masses. We do hope to hear something official from Huawei in the near and immediate future, as it can get pretty tiring to “survive” on rumors alone.
