Remember the other day Huawei took the wraps off the Ascend W2 Windows Phone device? Well if you wanted to see the phone in action, Huawei has since posted a new video on YouTube in which some of the features of the Ascend W2 are revealed and shared. For example the handset is shown off in a multitude of colors, and interestingly enough, albeit novel, the capacitive buttons on the bottom of the phone will actually sync with the color of the phone, which we have to say is pretty cool. The video also shows off how the super sensitive touchscreen and also takes us through a brief walkthrough of the Windows Phone operating system.

The Ascend W2 is not the highest end Windows Phone handset at the moment. The device will feature a 4.3” IPS WVGA LCD display (it’s not even HD), a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.4GHz, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage, and a camera that will be able to capture 720p HD video. Pricing and availability remain unknown at this point in time, but if you’re interested in what looks like it will most likely be a budget handset, be sure to check out the promotional video above for more details.
