minecraft-skyrim-texture-pack

Do you love Minecraft? Do you love Skyrim? Do you wish you could play both at the same time? Well – you kind of can now that the Skyrim pack has been released for the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim to Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition contains a themed-texture set, a total of 40 character skins, as well as having its UI, inventory and menu all Skyrim-themed. Better yet, you’ll be able to listen to some of the Skyrim soundtrack as you play through Minecraft.

The Skyrim pack also offers pre-made worlds the recreate areas of Whiterun, Riverwood and Bleak Falls Barro, although these recreations are certainly a bit smaller than what you experienced when playing Skyrim. Unfortunately, there’s no mention of dragons randomly flying around, possibly murdering you and everyone else in a village at any time.

The Skyrim pack is available starting today for $3.99 and seems like the perfect way for both Minecraft and Skyrim players to celebrate their love for both games. Just remember to keep the “arrow to the knee” jokes to a minimum. We all had a good laugh when Skyrim was first released, but at this point, it’s reached the point of being sad whenever someone mentions it.
