tombraider-definitiveAre you ready to meet up head to head with the next generation of consoles? Let us assume that you already have the PS4 in your living room (being the current showcase champion), you must surely be looking forward to the introduction of the Xbox One from Microsoft later this weekend. Regardless of which particular console that you settle for, you know for sure that next generation gaming is here to stay. In fact, there are rumors going around that Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition could be heading for the PS4 as well as Xbox One, especially when listings of it has been spotted online over on Amazon.it (Amazon Italy) as we reported on earlier today.

Needless to say, this particular listing does not arrive with a product image, so a lot of it still hangs in the air, but there is a whole host of other information which should make Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition possible for both next generation consoles. If this particular rumor pans out to be true, then the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is tipped for a rollout later next January 24, 2014, for the Sony PS4, quoting a “next generation platform” as the other outlet – which would more or less mean the Xbox One. It does seem as though this version will arrive with the game in its entirety, a DLC, Amazon.com pre-order content, as well as an exclusive art book – making this somewhat a Game of the Year version, and then some.
