facebook-windows-8.1

We’re sure many of you Facebook users have been enjoying how simple it is to log into several applications with nothing more than a simple press of the Facebook one-click login feature. Sure – the app could potentially end up ruining your feed with notifications, but the price of convenience is pretty expensive these days. For now, only Android and iOS users have been able to enjoy the one-click login feature on their devices, but it looks like Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 may soon be benefiting from this feature as well.

Microsoft has announced some preliminary applications that will begin to use the Facebook single-login feature will be Foursquare, Adobe’s Revel and Photoshop Express and iHeartRadio. The Facebook single-login feature is still in its early stages, but as you’d expect from the iOS and Android versios of the feature, Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 users can expect to log into an application using only their Facebook credentials. Once logged in, they can share content to Facebook from within the application easily, such as sharing your Foursquare check-ins or your iHeartRadio stations.

No word on when the Facebook single-login feature will start making its way to Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 apps, but we’re sure Microsoft will make their announcement when the service is ready for prime time.
