Ever since I purchased the Xbox One, I’ve been playing a lot of Dead Rising 3. Considering how much the next-generation console costs, I know many of you can’t afford to buy the Xbox One and a game, so free demos are pretty much all you can afford at this time. Well, demo players, you’ll finally be able to sample a bit of Dead Rising 3 as Capcom has announced its official demo isn now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Dead Rising 3’s demo allows you to explore the zombie-infested streets of Los Perdidos to pick up as many weapon blueprints, create combo weapons and mow down zombies with several vehicles all within the demo’s 20-minute limit. You won’t be able to have too many 20-minute runs in Dead Rising 3 as Capcom is limiting only two playthroughs per gamertag.

For those of us that own Dead Rising 3, the game’s first add-on, Operation Broken Eagle, will allow players to attempt to find the President of the United States, who coincidentally, has gone missing. Players will play as Spec Ops commander Adam Kane as he sets out to find and capture the president. The new DLC will also introduce five new weapons, a new combo weapon, new vehicle, new outfit and the chance to unlock additional Gamerscore points.

The Operation Broken Eagle DLC will cost $9.99 by itself and be available on December 24, although those who purchased Dead Rising 3’s DLC season pass will be able to download it for free, as long as they ponied up $29.99 for it.
