HTC-One-14We have heard the rumors that HTC is planning on launching a successor to the HTC One of 2013, and if the rumors are to be believed, there is a good chance the handset could be known as the HTC One Two (or HTC One 2, whichever you prefer). However according to recent reports, it has been suggested that the HTC One Two will not be the name of the handset itself, but rather it could be the name of a lineup of HTC devices. Back in 2012 HTC launched the HTC One series of handsets which consisted of the One X, One S, and One V, so we suppose this would not be completely out of the question.

According to the reported which was originated from an analyst from Taipei, Wilson Miao, the handset will allegedly come with separate lenses that have been designed for either low or high lighting conditions. However given that recently leaked photos of the HTC One’s successor does not seem to point to separate lenses, take this one with a grain of salt for now. While a HTC publicist was reported as saying that “it’s kind of too early” to be discussing 2014’s lineup, analysts are expecting its successor to come around March 2014.

The HTC One was announced earlier this year so we would have expected to see a similar timeframe in 2014 as well, but since CES and MWC 2014 are around the corner, perhaps we will learn more there, so check back with us  then for more details.
