xboxone-362gbThe Xbox One has certainly been quite a stellar performer when it comes to sales, although we have also been on the receiving end of some horror stories (which thankfully, ended on a good note) too. One thing about the Xbox One when it was launched in November Stateside – the console itself comes with a 500GB hard drive, but just how much free space is there actually for users to install their games and apps? Microsoft mentioned that storage management worked in an automatic manner, and shared, “By being smart about how storage is managed, Xbox One keeps everyone playing, watching, and sharing their entertainment content rather than worry about limitations.”

Obviously 500GB is not going to last forever, and it will eventually run out, and so the folks over at IGN have posted a video that depicts just 362GB thereabouts of available space on the 500GB hard drive that allows you to stash your games and videos among other media. The limit was apparently reached after performing installation on 20 out of 23 launch titles for the console, while the remainder of the hard drive was used for the operating system and default first party apps. At least you now have a better idea, no?
