If you’ve stuck with World of Warcraft as being your MMO of choice for as long as the game has been around, then you know this time of year is always a special time in the game as Blizzard holds an annual winter holiday event, the Feast of Winter Veil, around this time every year. This year, Feast of Winter Veil will begin on December 16, which is today!
As you’d expect, The Feast of Winter Veil will take place throughout World of Warcraft’s major cities as players can complete special quests, one of which includes rescuing Metzen the reindeer while another tasks you with finding a lost shipment of holiday goods.
The Feast of Winter Veil will also allow you to receive seasonal items, costumes and more. Achievement hunters will also be happy to hear a total of 15 achievements will be available during this year’s Feast of Winter Veil for a total of 150 points.
World of Warcraft’s Feast of Winter Veil will start today and last until January 2, which afterwards you can then return to killing Horde and Alliance members to your best ability. That is, if you already didn’t get your full share of killing one another during the game’s equivalent of Black Friday.
