1390955188-eso-imperial-edition-leakWe’re sure many gamers are looking forward to getting their hands on The Elder Scrolls Online. Given the success of The Elder Scrolls franchise, especially with Skyrim, we can only imagine that gamers out there can’t wait to experience the universe in an MMO setting. The game has been pegged for a release on the PC/Mac come 4th of April, and will be released on consoles like the PS4 and the Xbox One in June. Now the good news is that if you are a die-hard Elder Scrolls fan, you might be interested to learn that there could be a special edition version of the game up for grabs.

Thanks to thanks to the folks at AllGamesBeta who spotted an image hosted on Amazon’s servers, it looks like The Elder Scrolls Online will get an Imperial Edition version of the game. The Imperial Edition, based on what we can see, is basically a collector’s edition version which will come with a host of extra goodies that die-hard fans of the game will most certainly appreciate. For starters it will feature a collector’s edition packaging and a steelbook case, along with a 12-inch Molag Bal statue, an illustrated guide to Tamriel, and a map of Tamriel. Those are just the physical goodies that will be part of the Imperial Edition.

In terms of in-game goodies, gamers will receive Rings of Mara, a white Imperial steed, a mudcrab vanity pet, and the ability to play as an Imperial in any alliance. Unfortunately based on the image, it looks like the Imperial Edition appears to be a PS4-only version, but then again this is only a single image file and there could be different image files for the PC/Mac/Xbox One version. Pricing has not been mentioned either, but check back with us soon for more details. In the meantime any gamers out there planning on getting the Imperial Edition?
