Fujifilm-SHARE[CES 2014] Our smartphones and tablets these days are able to snap hundreds, if not thousands of photos, and thanks to internet being widely available these days, sharing photos can be done in an instant to anyone around the world. However there is also the charm of being able to print photos and collecting them in a scrap book or framing them up on the wall, which is where Fujifilm’s INSTAX SHARE S-! printer comes in.

The Fujifilm SHARE is essentially a portable printer that allows smartphone or tablet users to print their photos from their devices even while on the go! As the SHARE printer is able to create its own wireless hotspot, users will be able to pair with the device without the need for cables.

Smartphone users will be able to send photos from their devices to the printer through an accompanying INSTAX Share app which is available on both iOS and Android devices. The app will also allow users to edit their photos before printing, and will come with a host of templates that allows for more creative results. The printer will also be able to add additional information, such as time and date, location, and even weather conditions during which the photo was taken. The SHARE printer also makes use of 2x CR2 lithium batteries which Fujifilm estimates will be good for about 100 prints, and will rely on INSTAX Mini Instant Film to print out physical copies of photos.

It sounds like a great gadget for use at parties to allow guests to take home photos of the night, as well as a great device to bring on road trips. Priced at $199.95, the Fujifilm INSTAX SHARE SP-1 printer will be available in April 2014.
