gta-san-andreas-wp8Windows Phone 8 owners, you need not say you are a long suffering lot any more if you happen to be a fan of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, as this particular title has just been announced by Rockstar Games after a delay that lasted a month or so, with the game being available for download and purchase in the Windows Phone Store. First announced to hit all leading mobile platforms in November last year, it was tipped to hit the Windows Phone 8 operating system in December alongside Android. Unfortunately, as Android and iOS owners had their fair share of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas over Christmas, there were multiple delays for the Windows Phone 8 version. Ah well, better late than never applies here.

Interested parties who are done with waiting will be able to pick up Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for $6.99 or £5.49, depending on which side of the pond you live in. Right now, it will play nice with the likes of the Lumia 1520, Lumia 1320, Lumia 822, Lumia 820, Lumia 810, and HTC 8XT. The initial game download is a lightweight 18MB, but it will be accompanied by an extra 2.5GB of game data which would be best downloaded via Wi-Fi. You will need a minimum of 1GB RAM to run this puppy.
