HTC Butterfly users have been waiting to get their hands on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for a while now, and things started looking up last month when the company rolled out said update for the Butterfly S. It appears that earlier today HTC started rolling out the update for Butterfly users as well. Reports coming in from various markets confirm that the HTC Butterfly Android 4.3 update is slowly but surely being rolled out.

Included in this update are all the bells and whistles we have come to expect from Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The device’s imaging experience has been improved, it now supports custom soundtrack and content selection in Video Highlights and allows animated GIFs to be created from Zoe and burst shots. The update also brings Sense 5.5 UI, which was initially released last year. Improvements include ability to create custom feeds from keyword search, to view multi-country and multi-language content simultaneously and an enhanced music channel. The update weighs in at 500MB, so it would be wise to connect to a Wi-Fi network prior to downloading the update. In case you’ve forgotten about the HTC Butterfly, its basically a smartphone that’s quite similar to the HTC One X, with a 5 inch full 1080p HD display.
