Whenever a particular device is well on its way to hit the market, you can be more or less sure that there will be additional leaks that make an appearance, and at more frequent intervals, too. With the HTC M8, we have seen alleged cases for the upcoming flagship smartphone appear, not to mention the UA Prof file being revealed, too. Having said that, there seems to be yet another variant of the upcoming HTC M8, where it is known as the HTC M8x, and was given the nod of approval recently by Postel. This is not the first time that Postel, an Indonesian authority which certifies telecommunications and radio equipment in that part of the world, has shared something about a smartphone variant, so it could point to the very real possibility of this soon-to-be flagship device to boast of two versions.
It is impossible to know whether there are any differences between the HTC M8 and HTC M8x based on the Postel approval, but hopefully in due time, all will be revealed. Apart from that, Postel also did list a different and unannounced HTC handset – the D310w. Chances are, this will reside on the low-end side of things with 512MB RAM.
