mediapad7-youth2The MediaPad 7 Youth2 from Huawei looks all set to continue from where the MediaPad 7 Youth left off in July last year. This is an affordable tablet from Huawei that intends to let you enjoy all the fun that can be experienced via a tablet device, but without requiring you to burn a hole in your pocket at the same time. It is a pretty precarious tightrope to walk on, that is for sure, but that does not mean that it is an impossible dream to achieve. Let us take a closer look at the Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2’s hardware specifications right after the jump before you decide whether to part with your hard earned money for it or not.

The MediaPad 7 Youth2 will sport a metallic frame in the same vein as that of its predecessor, where it will be accompanied by a 7-inch display at 600 x 1024 pixels resolution. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is the mobile operating system of choice, where it will run alongside Huawei’s Emotion 1.6 user interface. Connectivity options include HSPA+ (21 Mbps) and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, where its 4GB of internal memory can be further augmented using a microSD memory card. A 3MP camera at the back and a front-facing VGA shooter rounds off the rest of the hardware.

Huawei claims that the MediaPad 7 Youth2 will run on a quad-core 1.2GHz MSM8x12 A7 processor, clearly placing this in the path of the recently announced Samsung Galaxy Tab3 Lite. [Product Page]
