iogear-hd-matrix-pro[CES 2014] The folks over at IOGear has just announced the brand new long range wireless 5×2 HD Matrix Pro, where it is also known by its model number GWHDMS52MB which is virtually unpronounceable. It will retail for $699 each, but before you balk at that kind of price point, you might want to check out what the HD Matrix Pro is able to deliver right out of the box. For starters, it will be able to send out fully uncompressed HD 1080p content up to a range of 200 feet even through standard home walls, and from up to five sources – it does not matter whether they are digital or analog in this matter.This similar content can then be sent to up to five various locations (with four of them being wireless), where this particular capability would let individuals or business owners customize the audiovisual experiences which will be able to meet their needs, where among them include a professional office that has multiple TV screens, or even at restaurants which sport unique public displays that will show off the game of the week for sporting enthusiasts.

This particular matrix will be able to make sure that rooms remain clear of wire clutter as it allows the likes of a cable box, game console or media server to be stashed away somewhere, and it can also be accessed sans wires. Not only that, it will also allow users to save the cost and space of multiple devices in separate rooms. Full HD 1080p, 3D content and 5.1 channel digital audio are supported for added versatility.
