lg-gpad-83-fccLTE speeds have been picking up in, er, speed, and it would certainly make the standard issue Wi-Fi connection at coffee shops snail-like in comparison whenever one is connected via your mobile device. Well, many tablet manufacturers seem to be happy rolling out devices in variants, where one will be a Wi-Fi only model, while the other would have the added ability to roll with 4G radio connectivity as well as a SIM slot. It does seem as though Verizon might be getting a special version of the LG G Pad 8.3 that will feature LTE connectivity, and this particular model has arrived at the FCC for its collective nod of approval.

The official documents point to it being an LG tablet with the model number VK810, where it has already received its nod of approval for the US market with LTE support for Bands 4 and 13, which happen to jive with Verizon’s network.
