A couple of days back Twitter released an update for its Android application. The updated app brought revamped photo editing features, which now allow users to crop, rotate, change aspects and a lot more with images before they’re posted to the microblogging network. The company hasn’t taken long to extend all those features to iOS as well. Today, a Twitter iOS app update has been released, which brings the aforementioned revamped photo editing features.

Through the gallery icon, users can quickly choose a photo from the camera roll that is to be tweeted. The photo can then be rotated, cropped or even viewed through different filters. There are many options when it comes to filters, users will definitely be spoilt for choice. Moreover, a slight tweak to the app now enables users to select an existing tweet and reply to it with a photo, also selected through the gallery icon. This new update bumps the app’s version number up to 6.1, and now offers recommendations for new content when all latest tweets have been read. Users who have login verification enabled will no longer need temporary passwords to log in to their device. Improvements to photo viewer have also been made. As always, Twitter for iOS is available as a free download from the App Store.
