Ever since Jean-Claude Van Damme performed that epic split in a Volvo commercial, much has been said and done about it. Heck, even the amazing and unconquerable Chuck Norris himself has been caught performing an epic split on two jets. Well, a new parody sees the martial arts legend Jean-Claude Van Damme perform such a split in space. Thankfully, everything in the parody went on as well as it could, otherwise a split that goes awry would be silent, since in space, no one can hear you scream. Sorry, I could not resist throwing in that line, movie actor and all.

What you see in the video above happens to be a new Gravity-inspired spoof by Linh Mai and Last Cause Films, where Jean-Claude Van Damme has been dressed up as an astronaut in space. We are talking about the perfect zero gravity split, which was performed between a pair of satellites before floating off.

A similar voiceover from the Volvo commercial was used, where Van Damme said, “I’ve had my ups and downs… My fair share of bumpy roads and heavy winds. That’s what made me what I am today. Now I stand here before you. What you see is a body crafted to perfection. A pair of legs engineered to defy the laws of physics and a mindset to master the most epic of splits.”
