Rumor has it that LG is going to Mountain View, Google’s HQ, in a bid to wow the company with its tech. Both companies are said to be meeting for two days, with LG presenting tech created by its numerous branches, such as LG Innotek, LG Display, LG Chem and LG Electronics. The idea behind this is believed to be LG’s ambition of continuing its partnership with Google, and by showing its creations off to the company, it may be able to expand upon its existing partnership.

Google and LG are already working together on several fronts, most notably the Nexus smartphone. Nexus 5 has been developed in collaboration with LG, and so was its predecessor. Sources cited in published reports coming in from Korea suggest the LG might be looking to develop more devices for Google, it has been rumored quite a few times that the new Nexus 10 might be made by LG. Perhaps there will be deliberations about the Nexus 6 smartphone as well, both companies may also talk about the much rumored Nexus 8, LG already has an 8 inch tablet on the market so creating one for Google won’t be too difficult. One source is of the view that increased partnership between both companies may not end at products, LG and Google may also work together on hardware components that can be used in future Google products, like the Korean juggernaut’s flexible screens and batteries in the next generation Google Glass. Though since all of this comes from an unconfirmed report, its best to take this with a grain of salt.
