nokia-lumia-1520-review-17The Nokia Lumia 1520 was launched last year on AT&T’s network. The handset was the biggest phone we’ve ever seen from Nokia making it something of a novelty. However it seems that the handset could be due for a relaunch, according to the ever reliable @evleaks who posted on his Twitter account saying, “Nokia Lumia 1520 will add a green option when it relaunches on AT&T with Windows Phone 8.1.”

We’re not sure what exactly will constitute as a relaunch. After all the hardware will remain exactly the same, except that now it will be available in a green finish and will run Windows Phone 8.1. Granted Windows Phone 8.1 will be a major update as far as Windows Phone updates are concerned, although we have to wonder if a new coat of paint and new software would constitute a relaunch.

Either way we guess we will just have to wait and see what this means for the phone. In the meantime Windows Phone 8.1 has been rumored for a release either in July or August and will bring about a host of changes and new features to the phone. One of the new features is the rumored Cortana voice assistant which would finally give Windows Phone a feature that has long existed on Android and iOS devices.
