xbox one headsetGood news gamers, as you might have heard last week, Microsoft announced the the Xbox One Stereo Headset and headset adapter for the Xbox One console. Unfortunately no release date was given but many had expected it to be released in March. Well the good news is that it looks like Microsoft has managed to surprise its customers by actually releasing the headset and the adapter a little earlier than everyone expected on the 25th of February 2014, which is next Tuesday. Customers who are interested in getting their hands on either the stereo headset or the headset adapter will be able to place their pre-orders either via Amazon or the official Microsoft Store.

As a quick recap, the Xbox One stereo headset will be priced at $79.99 while the headset adapter will go for $24.99. The adapter will come in handy for gamers who might have purchased headphones from before and were using it with the Xbox 360 before the Xbox One was released. We’re sure that these gamers probably don’t want to switch headphones, especially if they paid a lot for them, and they probably won’t wait to wait for an Xbox One compatible model either, which is why the adapter will come in handy. For those who aren’t too fussy, the stereo headset should be able to get the job done and then some.
