padfone-x-specsThe ASUS PadFone X was announced for AT&T earlier this year, on January 7th, to be exact, and it has been nearly three months on the clock without the detailed hardware specifications revealed for this particular device. Considering how it has been spotted on the FCC earlier this week and teased by AT&T, it signals the fact that the PadFone X should be well on its way to the market soon, and we are pleased to announce that AT&T has also stepped up and furnished us with the hardware details.

For starters, the ASUS PadFone X will arrive with a 5-inch 1080p Full HD touchscreen display, a 13MP camera at the back with a 2MP front-facing camera for those ego-boosting selfies, a quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory that can be further expanded thanks to a microSD memory card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/c and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, GPS support, and a 2,300 mAh battery.

Android 4.4 KitKat is the operating system version of choice, where everything has been crammed into a chassis that measures 143.93mm × 72.46mm × 9.98mm while tipping the scales at 150 grams. No idea on the asking price just yet, as AT&T has called for patience, asking us to “stay tuned for ordering and availability details.” [Press Release]
