moto-x-review-06If you happen to own a Moto X smartphone and are an AT&T subscriber, then here is (good) news for you. Apparently, those in this particular category of smartphone owners are closer to getting their hands on Android 4.4.2 KitKat as a soak test for the handset from AT&T has already begun. It is also estimated that the update is all set to start rolling out earlier this afternoon, but apart from that, no other new information concerning this particular update has been divulged or revealed.

It is definitely nice to see AT&T finally play catch up to the likes of T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Verizon and Sprint, as those mobile carriers who have their own Moto X subscribers as well, have already introduced the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update some time back. Ah well, as the old ones always say, better late than never, right? It is nice to hear that majority of such soak tests seem to have gone on rather well without any hiccups, so it should not be long before the final roll out kicks off.

Just in case you are wondering what kind of hardware does the Moto X from Motorola offer, as well as the performance levels of this device is able to deliver, why not check out our review?
