For the past few weeks Xbox owners would probably have been focused on Titanfall, as news about the new title continued to trickle in. A few days back Titanfall was finally launched for Microsoft’s console and it goes without saying that a lot of gamers would have immediately jumped on it. That said, there are plenty of other games as well that are much loved. Call Of Duty: Ghosts is one such example. Activision has a treat for gamers up its sleeve, it will offer the Call Of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught DLC free this weekend.

The idea here is to get gamers to try the new DLC, so that they can ultimately end up buying it. There’s a slight caveat that needs to be kept in mind. Activision will only offer the DLC free for one weekend. It becomes available for download on Friday March 21st and the trial ends on Monday. Though trial doesn’t mean that its a watered down version of the DLC.

The first chapter of the game’s co-op four-part Extinction campaign, Nightfall, will be playable as well. Xbox owners are in luck as Microsoft and Activision have an exclusivity deal. Call Of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught DLC goes live for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 on March 31st. Other platforms will get their shot at the free trial as well, but at a later date.
