If you’re a big Google Now user, then there’s some good news for you. The company has just announced that Google Now cards will now be available on Chrome for Windows and Mac. Ever since its launch, Now has been a mobile-only feature. Its simple cards interface lets users keep up with a variety of things, such as sports scores, traffic, weather, appointments, reminders and more. All of this data will now be displayed in Chrome on desktops and laptops, provided that users are signed in with the same account that they’re using on iOS or Android for Google Now.

Notifications will be synced across mobile and desktop. Users won’t have to go through them all over again on mobile if they have already cleared all the cards on desktop. Some of the cards shown on desktop may use location data from the users’ smartphone. If users make any changes to location settings, those changes will also apply to Now for desktop. Google Now can also check for location if Chrome isn’t working, but users have the option to turn this off.

Despite the fact that the update has been rolled out today, it will take a couple of weeks for it to complete its global roll out. So sit back, relax and wait for it to drop.
