Google made waves in the wearable device market with Google Glass. Its wearable ambitions are believed to be much more greater than just smart eyeglasses. Despite the fact that Glass hasn’t even been publicly released right now, rumors have been circulating that Google is working on a new wearable that might make it to the market soon. Apparently manufactured by LG, the Google smartwatch has been extensively rumored over the past few months. Today alleged Google smartwatch specifications have been rumored.

The information has been provided by trusted leaker @evleaks, who has a solid track record. The Google smartwatch may come with a 1.65-inch IPS LCD display with 280×280 pixel resolution. It is said to have a 512MB RAM as well as 4GB of onboard storage. Apparently the processor is yet to be decided. If these specifications are correct, then Google’s smartwatch will be quite similar to Samsung’s Gear 2, which comes with similar RAM and storage but differs slightly on the display’s resolution.

Rumor has it that Google is going to announce its new wearable device at the I/O conference this Summer. It was at this very conference that the first demo of Google Glass was presented. No idea how much it may end up costing.
