htc-one-m8-Verizon-4556-630x393Earlier today, HTC unveiled its latest handset, the HTC One M8. Interestingly enough HTC has decided to try a new strategy which is to make the phone available as soon as it is announced, as opposed to announcing it earlier and then have customers wait a few weeks or a month before they can get their hands on it.

The good news is that for those on AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint, the handset will be available for purchase today, although those on T-Mobile will have to wait until next month. Even better news is that it looks like Verizon is offering a “buy one get one free” deal for the HTC One M8.

Yup, you read that right, it looks like if you wanted to get yourself the handset and give another one to your family member, friend, or loved one, they will be able to do so. The phone itself is priced at $199 on contract and the stipulation is that you will have to sign a new 2-year contract with Verizon, thus locking you in for the next couple of years.

It is unclear how long Verizon will be hosting this promotion for, but we can only imagine that this will definitely help boost the sales of the HTC One M8 and perhaps allow it to do even better than its competitors like the LG G Pro 2, Sony Xperia Z2, and the Samsung Galaxy S5. So if you’re interested in this deal, head on over to Verizon to find out more!
