Screen-Shot-2014-03-30-at-8.26.31-PM-640x363Say what you will of Facebook Home but what it has brought to Android devices is a pretty convenient chat feature called Chat Heads. For those who use Facebook, whether it be on iOS or Android, you guys have probably encountered Chat Heads which are basically icons featuring your friend’s photo that lets you chat with them.

On Android this is pretty convenient as the Chat Heads appear on the home screen, thus letting you chat with friends without having to open the Facebook or Messenger app. Unfortunately for iOS, Chat Heads is limited to the Facebook app, but if you’re running a jailbroken iOS device, perhaps Message Box might be a tweak worth checking out.

The tweak was developed by Adam Bell and basically what it does is that it brings Chat Heads onto iOS devices as pictured above. The tweak will now let iOS users chat directly with Facebook friends on any screen/app which would save them the time and trouble from having to swap apps just to chat.

Of course this tweak isn’t for everyone as we can only imagine that some people might not appreciate the intrusive feature of Chat Heads, but if you’re an avid Facebook chatter, then perhaps this could be worth taking a look at, so head on over to Cydia and check it out.
